We're moving to Mexico!

Why are we moving to Mexico? That's a very good question, thanks for asking. We are moving to Mexico for many reasons. We both have the freedom in our schedules and lives to be able to go out and see the world. We hope to get involved with positive endeavors while on our travels. We are moving to San Cristobal de las Casas in the state of Chiapas because it is a beautiful city surrounded by amazing landscapes and people. The beginning of our stint in Mexico will involve us working at the Mayan Medicine Museum whose goals are to preserve traditional knowledge and create awareness about its value and uses. We will be involved with many aspects of the museum and we will write about our progress. Mike hopes to continue his education and will be applying to graduate schools while in Mexico. He plans to incorporate the work he will be doing while in Chiapas into his future anthropological career. All of these plans will flesh themselves out as time goes by. So, that's the tentative plan: move to Mexico, get involved, feel the energy, and try to make a contribution. Thanks to everyone who reads this and all of you who have been supportive. We are very excited about our adventure, but are also very sad to be leaving our friends and families.
